Intermediate Software Engineer - Front End
We are looking for a Front-End Software Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Software engineering team, and collaborate with our UI/UX advisors. The front end developer will also be responsible to create innovative solutions, interact with our backend services via arious API interfaces, training users on various platforms and help make our software platforms both new and old more visually appealing and enhance usability. Attension to detail both in terms of code and design will be vitaly important.
Requirements
- 3+ Year’s experience working as a Software Engineer (Front End)
- Experience in the Linux environment and comfortable using the Command Line
- Experience with different JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React etc.
- Self-managed, driven and autonomous
- Experience with version control tools such as GIT
- Experience with UI/UX designs
- User testing of applications and prototypes
- A portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript, UX and UI proficiency and understanding.
- Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS pre-processor tools
- Expert knowledge of HTML5 and its best practices
- Extensive experience with VueJS or similar, Typescript / Javascript.
- Experience with PHP and the Laravel Framework.
- Know how to program on the front end.
- Strong understanding of object orientation programming.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Take initiative and ownership of projects.
- Develop visually appealing interfaces and enhance usability on both current and new software systems.
- Develop new software platforms using various front end technologies.
- Integrate with various third-party and internal API's
- Learn and implement new concepts
- Ability to extend knowledge and learn new technologies with ease.
- Take a project from inception to completion
- Collaborate with our UI/UX advisors and software development team
- Training/ Guiding client on how to use various Snode software platforms.
